You can do it yourself, but it is still recommended to have a professional do a detailed cleaning on a regular basis. Whether it is your floor mat, the carpet itself, or textiles elsewhere inside the vehicle; dirt and grime is constantly collecting in these areas.
The fabric in your vehicle is designed to allow good grip, which means it can be very difficult to clean messes that are stuck deep in the material. Fortunately, our team is equipped with all the right tools and has the experience to leave your vehicle’s carpet looking spotless.
Our process starts with a treatment of upholstery cleaner which will break down the dirt trapped in the top layers of your carpet. From there we begin our initial cleaning and scrubbing of the carpet. We scrub thoroughly and make multiple passes on every inch of the vehicle to ensure this step is done properly.
From there, we can begin to shampoo your carpet. Our machine will create a steam that breaks down debris deep in the carpet fibers. We then begin applying the cleaning formula into the carpet, ensuring that the formula is penetrating throughout the entire carpet. Once the first pass is completed, we will vacuum the carpet to remove the cleaning formula and do everything again. This step can be repeated several times for particularly difficult messes.
The second to last step in our process is to properly dry the carpet. This takes time and attention to detail to ensure no moisture is leftover. Leftover moisture can lead to mildew and permanent stains. We will ensure the carpet is thoroughly cleaned and dried before we apply a protective coating to finish our cleaning process.
